Yes, www.geekteks.com repairs PC’s but here is a video that someone else upped in regards to how to build your own. I thought it was fairly instructional.

I’m not sure, but isn’t it bad to use a screw driver with the magnet at the end. I know it’s convenient to just pick up the screws, but can’t the magnetism damage the parts inside? Can someone please answer?
okay i just have to know (please help me out with this) will this video work with every type of motherboard?. basically if i got a different motherboard would this not work?
@splaakgeblek OK, you don’t attach it to your motherboard. There should be a 6 pin, dual row lead coming from your power supply (the semi-large box that you plug the power into). That’s all you really need to do to install it.
i’m not so good at this stuff but i’m going to buy an ATI 4870HD RADEON but there is something that looks tika an 6 pin connector at the back of the card.. i’ve been told that’s for the cooling fan but how/where do i attach it to my motherboard, and do i get an cable to do that with thecard..? please help!
@zacblackbow i recommend waiting a bit, amd is coming out with the new 8xx chipsets that will support the new 6 core cpus, you dont want to be in this same position in 2-3 years when that shiny new triple or quad core cpu feels slugish and have to buy a whole new system! what i would do is wait for the new motherboards, and get a tricore cpu(like the 435) and overclock it, then get a six core in 2-3 years… oh, and graphics card prices will drop like a stone when nvidia finally releases fermi.
@thebeetalls The Quad was indeed a Q6600 and the Dual core E4400. I later found the Mobo does not Support the FSB and thus pointless to continue trying out Quad. It’s working fine with the Dual Core again. =) I’ll now build a new system to house my New Hobby of Gaming. Starting with AMD for money is a little tight right now.
@thebeetalls i don’t know, it might be from the gpu, i don’t have a fan over it because its an old pine something, and i had another video card that i thought i will never use anymore and i thew it away, but i don’t think its from the gpu, the motherboard is a a7v8x-x from asus, and i have 2 beeps, one short and one short that sounds like 2, but i don’t know if “long beep” means beeeep or beep and a big gap between them. I don’t really need it but i think it would be nice to have a secondary com

@bygmikeee yes he grounds himself then he uses a magnetic driver. mmm

@YourHowToChannel
I sure did,
Professionals don’t use brass standoffs. You have an IQ of twelve if you DON’T use them.
A real professional would use brass standoffs!
